Rooted in faith. Centered on you.

As a follower of Jesus and a person-centered clinician, I approach counseling with a deep respect for the dignity and worth of every person. My faith shapes the compassion, humility, and care I bring to this work. It calls me to listen closely, make room for complexity, and meet you with grace.

Being person-centered means that your experiences, values, and goals help guide our work. I bring clinical knowledge and a thoughtful presence; you bring a perspective on your life that no one else can offer. Together, we’ll explore what feels difficult, recognize your strengths, and find ways forward that are meaningful to you.

A relationship where you can be real

I want counseling to be a place where you can feel heard and understood without having to present a polished version of yourself. There is room here for uncertainty, painful emotions, unanswered questions, and parts of your story you’re still making sense of.

We’ll move at a pace that respects your readiness while making room for meaningful change. My role is to support you with empathy, honesty, and curiosity as you build greater understanding of yourself and consider new possibilities.

Space for faith and for questions

For some people, faith is an important source of strength and meaning. For others, it’s connected to questions, hurt, or uncertainty. You’re welcome to bring any of those experiences into counseling.

If you would like to explore your Christian faith as part of our work, we can discuss how to do that in ways that support your goals. You don’t need to share my beliefs to work with me, and there is no expectation that faith will be part of our conversations. Your preferences will guide whether and how spirituality enters the counseling process.

Support that leaves room for your growth

A trellis provides support while allowing growth to take its own shape. That image reflects how I understand counseling: a relationship that offers steadiness and encouragement while respecting your capacity to make choices and grow.

My hope is that our work helps you meet yourself with greater compassion, move toward what matters to you, and feel more able to navigate the challenges of your life.
